How do I verify the installer’s signature?
Every release is signature-verified and open source. Download the signature file next to the installer, check it against the published Trezor key with GPG, and only run the installer once the check reports a good signature.
Can a firmware update erase my coins?
No. Your coins live on the blockchain, not on the device. Updating firmware keeps your accounts intact, and your recovery seed can restore everything if you ever need it. Always confirm the update on the device screen.
Does Suite ever see my recovery seed?
Never. The seed is generated and shown only on your Trezor, Model One, Model T or Safe 3, and you write it down offline. Suite asks you to confirm actions on the device and never requests the seed on screen.
What if the app does not find my device?
Try another USB cable and port, close other apps that may use the device, and restart Suite. On Linux, install the udev rules. Support is available 24/7 via the Trezor Help Center if the problem stays.
